Brookhill Cutlery Works
Brookhill was a rabbit warren of tenement factories and obscure backstreet workshops. This Works was unlikely to have been a grand affair: the name does not apparently appear in Sheffield directories. ‘Brookhill Cutlery Works’ was probably no more than a marketing or factoring operation – perhaps targeted at overseas customers.
