This cutlery manufacturer, based at Earl Street, began business in about 1926. The partners were George Arthur Clark (1865-1940) and William Turner Hardwick (1886-1942). Clark had been in partnership with Gertrude Brown in Clark & Brown (qv), a cutler and silversmith at Holly Street. Hardwick was the son of William Roger Brown Hardwick (a bookkeeper) and his wife, Sarah Jane. William Turner trained as a merchant clerk.
