Thomas Charlesworth Latham (1880-1937) was first listed as a cutlery manufacturer in a Sheffield directory in 1922. He was the son of George Edward Latham (1849-1902), who was a silversmith’s clerk (and later manager for Walker & Hall), and his wife, Emma née Staniforth. His father died on 13 October 1902 and was buried in the General Cemetery (leaving £485). Thomas also became a cutlery manager and then started his own business at Napier Street.
