Burgon, Green & Co was active after about 1816, first at Green Lane and then during the 1820s at Paradise Square. It was a saw manufacturer and merchant, which sold scythes, hay and straw knives, and table knives and forks. In 1830, the announcement of the firm’s dissolution listed the partners: William Burgon, Thomas Green, Peter Cadman, William Broadhurst, and George Deakin (London Gazette, 12 February 1830).
