Henry Ducker (1817-1900) was born in Sheffield, the son of William (a cutler) and Alice. By the 1840s, Henry was a warehouseman and grocer at Peacroft. By 1860, he was a table knfe manufacturer (and shopkeeper) at Peacroft. By 1864, he had moved to Hollis Croft, where he occupied the ground floor of Hides’ premises.
