The son of a druggist, Abraham Blackwell (1861-1937) became a silversmith. In 1891, he advertised electro-plate goods from Albert Works, Cambridge Street. He sold out to Wheatley Bros and in 1902 emigrated to Meriden, Connecticut. He worked as a silversmith amd was naturalised in 1916. He died at New Britain, Connecticut, on 13 September 1937, aged 76. His probate was granted at Birmingham, England. He left £457. ....
