Thomas Blackwell
Thomas Blackwell was born in Sheffield in about 1787. He became a silversmith and by the late 1840s was listed in Rock Street. At the same address was Elizabeth Blackwell, a straw bonnet maker, who was apparently his daughter. Thomas’s wife was Sarah, who died in 1853. Thomas died in Andover Street on 10 May 1859, aged 72, and was buried in the General Cemetery in an unconsecrated grave. ....
