In the 1830s, Colley & Co was a scissors and razor manufacturer at 98 Arundel Street. It used the ‘S’ and crossed-pipes mark of Alice Colley and can be considered the ‘successor’. The enterprise was started by Henry Colley (1802-1881) and James Colley (1806-1868), who were the sons of former Master Cutler William Colley and his wife, Ann.
