Colley Brothers
This scissors manufacturer in Allen Street only appeared in two Sheffield directories: 1849 and 1852. The partners were Edwin (1809-1873) and Thomas (1811-1882). They were the sons of Thomas Colley and his wife, Mary Trickett. Thomas Jun. had been born at Huddersfield. Thomas Sen. was probably the scissors manufacturer and chaser listed in Allen Street in 1833 (he lived in adjacent Burnt Tree Lane).
