John Gallimore (1844-1888) was the son of William Gallimore Jun., who began working for the holloware side of his father’s company in 1870. In about 1872, he started his own enterprise. In 1876, John Gallimore was listed as an electro-plate manufacturer in Eyre Street and Matilda Street. In 1883, when he employed about 34 workers, he began manufacturing Britannia metal goods and electro-plated Britannia metal goods.
