This silver and electro-plate firm had its origins in James Hancock, Holly Street. The Hancock brothers were Percy Griffin Hancock (1870-1899) and Ernest Henry Hancock (1873-1942), who were the sons of Henry Hancock (electro-plater) and his wife, Sarah Elizabeth.
