William (1815-1880), Joseph Gilbert (1819-1879), and Elliott (1826-1854) were the sons of William Parker and his wife, Catherine. They were baptised at Nether Chapel in Norfolk Street. They followed their father into the American trade. By 1841, William and Joseph Gilbert were in partnership as merchants and manufacturers, at Eagle Place, 76 Eyre Street.
