George Henry Sellers (c.1860-1946) was born in Sheffield. He was apparently the son of Walter Sellers, a night watchman, and his wife, Ann. In 1881, the family lived in Penistone Road, when George Henry was working as a steam hammer driver. By 1891, he was forging table blades (and was a greengrocer).
