J. L. Castiglioni
Most likely James Lawrence Castiglioni [sometimes spelt Castiglione] (1846-1931). Born in Guisborough he was the son of Swiss merchant/traveller who settled in East Yorkshire selling hardware. James established a shop/bazaar in Redcar which operated between 1876/79. However, he had moved to Sheffield not long after his marriage to Ada Brelstaff in 1876 were 4 of his 5 children were born between 1877 and 1883. He lived with his wife Ada at 56 Nether Edge Road with his occupation listed as General ....
