John Bowden
This table knife cutler was listed at Pool Works, Burgess Street, in 1905 (this was a tenement-type factory, which also housed horn and scale cutter, William Horridge & Co.). He may have been John James Bowden (1859-1940?). He was the son of John (a table knife hafter) and his wife, Ann. When John Jun. was born, the family lived at St Philip’s Road.
