Ibbotson Brothers & Company Ltd
According to an advertisement, Ibbotson Bros was established in 1809. The family came from Hathersage in Derbyshire – a village known for its pins and needles and its Methodism (see G. H. Lawrence, John Stead). The Ibbotson genealogy is complex. A pedigree has been constructed, but it is incomplete (Hall, 19151).
