Lascelles was a brand name created as part of a Black Cat cigarettes coupon promotion, for the Carreras Tobacco Company, which ran between the late 1920s and early 1930s.
The knife was made by the Sheffield Silver Plate & Cutlery Company (1923) Ltd.
