George Alfred Dyson (1887-1959) was the son of George Alfred Sen., a scissors forger, and his wife, Mary Ann. By 1928, the son was a scissors manufacturer at Reliance Works, Bolsover Street. The firm was a private limited company after the War and specialised in surgical scissors and forceps at 72 Arundel Street. By 1957, Dyson had retired. He died on 27 February 1959, aged 71, and was buried in Norton Cemetery.
