Charles Garlick (c.1824-1886) was a saw smith, who was listed in 1864 as a saw and table knife manufacturer in Charlotte Lane. He claimed an establishment date of 1858.
He was likely the partner in Garlick & Haslam, saw and table knife manufacturers, Charlotte Lane. This partnership appeared in only one Sheffield directory (1868). The other partner is not identified in the directory, but it may have been John Henry Haslam, manufacturer of table knives, brass and iron rivets for boots, etc, West Street (house 4 Broomhill).
Garlick’s thereafter became a well-known Sheffield saw maker.
